This morning, some of our student-athletes participated in the South Carolina High School League's Middle School Leadership Summit. The Summit featured the officers of the SCHSL Student Athlete Advisory Council as speakers, and is designed to provide middle school student-athletes with strategies and resources to help them build skills for leadership both on and off the field.

Today in Ms. Ryan’s 8th-grade art class, students are bringing their creativity to life through collage self-portraits. Using magazines, newspapers, and other materials, they are designing portraits that showcase their unique personalities and artistic expression. #RMSTeachingandLearning #BulldogBrilliance

🌟 Celebrating Excellence in Education! 🌟 The Development Corporation of Anderson County (DCAC) proudly recognized Ms. Alexis Ryan as the Anderson School District Four Teacher of the Year! 🎉👏 Superintendent Mr. Christopher and Riverside Principal Dr. Roach were there to cheer her on as she was recognized. Of the five districts across Anderson County, three of this year’s Teachers of the Year are middle school educators — representing Riverside, Starr-Iva, and Robert Anderson. In addition to the recognition, each Teacher of the Year was gifted a brand-new set of tires, courtesy of Michelin. 🚗✨ We are especially proud that Ms. Ryan marks the third consecutive District Teacher of the Year from Riverside Middle School. What an incredible testament to the passion and dedication of our teachers! Our Riverside Fall Sports Program has left the printers and will be sold starting at tonight's game! It includes pictures and rosters from all of our Riverside fall sports. These will also be sold at Riverside volleyball home games! Cost is $5- cash only!

Congratulations to Caroline Runion with being selected as our Athlete of the Week! Coach Little spoke of Caroline's leadership skills and her huge performance at the game last night with 13 aces!

It's finally time for some FOOTBALL!

Remember to lay out your red, white, and blue for tomorrow's student section at our first football game! All students should gather on the bleachers in front of the cheerleaders on the scoreboard side. Lets cheer on our Bulldogs and show our American pride!
